Beverly Hilton
Beverly Hills, CA
FCXUS and FCXUSP
This mega-structure composed of 570 bedrooms, restaurants, well-being center, shopping center, garden, and swimming pool. The hotel was built in 1955 and was completely remodeled in 2003. The total cost of bringing the hotel back to its splendor was $80 million.
Today, the Beverly Hilton is among the most elegant hotels in Los Angeles, regularly visited by Hollywood’s elite. The fan coils used are mainly the ‘PO’ version, for high priority ducted mounting. The 7 to 7.5 kW may seem unusual for a hotel, but they are required due to the size of the larger than average bedrooms and the requirements of the guests. The designers also requested high capacity in order to obtain ‘sensitive’ air conditioning.
