120 NRL Glycol Free Freecooling Chiller

Inspira Health is a charitable nonprofit health care organization with over 1328 medical staff members, 907 volunteers, and 5782 employees. Their new Mullica Hill facility required free cooling machine to meet their process loads: MRI, sub cooling unit, IT, and refrigerators. These chillers operate in the winter and during shoulder seasons. The Aermec free cooling chiller installed at this facility was a special type where the free cooling loop is completely isolated from the building loop. This means that there was a heat exchanger and pump on the free cooling side to ensure glycol does not come back to the building.

An NRL1250BAI700 was customized with the frame of an NRL1800BAI700. This project required more free cooling than offered by a standard unit. Hence we offered a customization by putting the same compressors in the frame of a bigger unit. This allows bigger coils to be utilized.
