3 NRL TOTAL HEAT RECOVERY CHILLERS
The City of Valdosta significantly invested in upgrading heating and cooling systems in the Lowendes County school system. School officials planned to save $13.6 million on energy and operating costs with savings put toward renovations over the next 15 years.
Fourteen water to water heat pumps between 20 to 40 tons were installed to achieve the energy efficiency targets. Aermec’s highly efficient heat pumps are being used with groundwater as geothermal source. The school board decided to chose integrated heat pumps in order to save mechanical room space and lower the installation costs. The main benefit of going with Aermec WRL and NXW is that they provided an integrated pump and incredibly high efficiencies. The Aermec heat pumps provide space cooling and heating year round.
